MUSE Personal Styling fulfills entrepreneur’s dream while helping women to achieve theirs
Lenore Aguilar had a business idea – and the passion to make it happen. As a seasoned telecommunications marketing executive starting her second-act career, Aguilar needed to make a splash with a website and publicity to launch her new business, MUSE Personal Styling. MUSE stands for My Unique Styling Experience, and the business was the fulfillment of a long-standing dream of becoming a style consultant, a dream made reality through diligent preparation.
Aguilar went back to school at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and honed her skills through styling more than 150 women through the nonprofit Dress for Success, where she became chair of the organization’s team of stylists.
Then she engaged Susan Hill Public Relations~Marketing to create copy for a website that would compellingly express the unique benefits of MUSE Personal Styling.
“I assist women in analyzing their personal style, unique needs, body and face shape and best colors and then plan around their existing wardrobes with new finds,” she said. “The customized styling app technology makes the process fun – and I can work with clients locally or long-distance.”
The website details MUSE services including personal style analysis, wardrobe needs, wardrobe editing and a unique customized shopping plan with recommended buys, both locally and online. Aguilar adds innovation with a Virtual Wardrobe and Lookbook customized styling app. More than style guidance, she offers confidence to every client. “My message is to hold on to your dreams, and never forget your best accessory: your smile!” she said.

The Barrel Rack: Creating unique and decorative wine storage from recycled wine barrels
Chet Bassetti was a wine-loving inventor with an inspiration when he dreamed up the idea of creating a wine rack from a wine barrel. The retired engineer also was a perfectionist, working tirelessly on a design that would be beautiful as well as ideal for the barrel’s round shape. Chet Bassetti and his wife, Diane Bassetti, two years ago formed The Barrel Rack to create and market their racks manufactured from barrels for home builders, designers, remodelers and wine shops. Now, in perfect step with the times, they have built a better rack: an eco-friendly barrel rack that uses recycled, rather than new barrels.
