eWomenNetwork Foundation opens 2012 grant applications to local nonprofits caring for women and children
The Reno/Carson/Tahoe Chapter of eWomenNetwork has announced the opening of the eWomenNetwork Foundation grant applications for its 2012 awards. The grants will be made to a non-profit organization working to change the lives of women and children in the local community.
“We’re very proud of the work to improve the lives of local women and children that our Foundation has funded in our previous grants to For Kids Foundation and Tru Vista Foundation, among others, and we look forward to supporting the success of another local non-profit with a grant this year,” said Kymberlee Simantel, executive managing director for the Reno/Carson/Tahoe Chapter of eWomenNetwork.
The eWomenNetwork Foundation provides awards and grants to organizations committed to improving the emotional and financial well-being of women and children. Winners will be flown to Dallas to participate in a grant program and gala on July 13, 2012. The program is designed especially for the grantees as part of the eWomenNetwork International Conference and Business Expo, the largest four-day women’s business conference in North America. To date, more than 80 non-profit organizations have benefited from the Foundation’s generosity.

Northern Nevada 501(c )3 organizations which are locally based and unaffiliated with national non-profits and which address the issues of health, wellness and/or safety of underserved women and/or children are encouraged to apply.
